About the Community

Somos Valentinas is a studio of stories in the feminine created by Joy Bandeira, where women discover the power of creative and wild writing through online courses, workshops, and journeys.

I had the pleasure of being part of their first anthology. This book is a testament to that extraordinary community: 45 women who showed up, wrote freely, and celebrated each other.

My Experience

I had written before. But participating in the online sessions of Somos Valentinas was something special. A space where creativity doesn’t just flourish, it expands and celebrates itself.

In each meeting, surrounded by incredible women through the screen, around a virtual table warmed by coffee, genuine listening, and shared words, something inspiring happened. Creativity flowed. Words came alive with an intensity I rarely experience.

I met wolves, goddesses, heroines. Women who work, who dream, who fight, who create. Each bringing her narrative, her truth, her urgency to tell stories.
